its a good deal if you could load some propper android on it, you save $2000 xD

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

The iphone 6 is a dual core 1.4ghz, and that's basically on par with all the ultra powerful octacores for phones

The dualcore cpu is a krait with adreno 225. AKA it's pretty bad for the price and pretty middle of the road in general.

 

Also this phone came out in 2013...

The amount of cores and the clock speed mean basically nothing without context

EDIT: but for 3K USD, they may put 8 of those cores in. This is more expensive than a X99 build :P

Shit, i didn't realize my posts were invisible...

 

It is quite specifically a Snapdragon S4, not sure exactly which one, but there's 4 models in the "plus" category that match the clock speed and gpu.

Many phones today have quad, and even octi-core cpu's.

And all those octacores don't perform much better than apples dualcores.

Then why do they score mostly the same on benchmarks?
