Game Rules:

Very simple, ban the person above you for any reason i.e. "Banned for ___________" where "___________" is anything in your mind doesn't matter how stupid or irrelevant is. ~ @AlexGoesHigh

 

1. Quote the previous member (the last one to post).

2. Reason for ban.

3. Have fun.

4. Keep it civil and nothing derogatory.

Banned because you’re not trapped in the computer you’re trapped in front of the computer.  I can relate.

this is a pebkac  problem.  Literally.  My trick is I removed my chair and substituted a cheapo exercise bike with a lousy seat that puts my butt to sleep after about 20 minutes. Amazingly effective.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I am literally trapped inside a computer. it's a server with only one or two racks at the top that i sat in as a joke, the door closed and locked. my friends couldn't unlock it, got scared that we would get caught and ran.

 

i have not seen another human since.

Banned for running while inside a server closet.  That’s hard to do.  A lot of server closets can’t even be walked in.  Closet entry doors use a spring latch rather than a deadbolt generally.  Assuming it’s got its knob set backwards.  The way closet entry knobs are supposed to work is the outside is key entry and the inside always works.   Safety issue for situations just like this. Someone gonna get fined for illegal construction.

 

anyway: getting out:

You maybe got a credit card or a drivers license? Something thin and stiff?  Plastic security packaging actulallu works better than anything else. 

if you’ve got something stiff that will fit between the door and the jam the bolt has two pieces. A thin small bit and the thick bit that does the latching.  The thick bit will be facing you which makes it trickier because you have to go in at an angle. You’ve got to wedge the small bit back.  This will release the big latch which will be angled to make things easier. Pull the jimmy (the card or whatever) toward you to lift the big latch bolt and push it back into the latch.  There’s just a spring punishing it in. Do that and the door should pop open.  It’s called carding a door.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Banned because death does not invalidate existence. The law of conservation of mass states that matter is neither created nor destroyed. ∴ the atoms that made up Adams' body still exist, ∴ Adams still exists.
