Shenmue 2 was on the Xbox and sold like ass there too. 

 

Seriously, I can see it from Sony's perspective and I love Shenmue. I screamed when it was announced as a kickstarter. 

 

Eventually, the launch of a new IP matters quite a bit specially when it's done on a crap console.

you wanna know what's incredible about this? MS announced more new shit that almost all of the devs that have show up thus far, they announced the gears re master and killing instinct for pc, yeah they aren't new but from the point of view of new content that we can play on our pc's its more that almost everyone else expect for rising storm, planet coaster and america truck sim

Hey, I'm actually more exited about American Truck Simulator than Killer instincts or Gears of war:OMG-how-fucking-long-ago-was-this edition

i'm just saying ms did more there that most of the other devs, doesn't matter if they games are good or not, getting 2 games is better that just pr of current games or new dlc

you serious? gameloft can suck a dick horse, you said you weren't watching earlier, dunno if you are now, but so far the show has been a pr machine of crap we can play now or stuff we already know almost nothing new expect for those games i said in my first quote, the only thing i'm saying is that those 2 announcement by MS is better that most of the stupid shit at this shitty show

No not really, I was just making a point. This are not exactly costly, expensive IPs MS is bringing to the table, though I will concede that I see your point vs the nothing others are bringing up.

At this point, it's probably now more worthwhile to just go watch porn and call it a night. This isn't an "expo" of PC gaming, it's an Expo of attention starved titles, microsoft lip service, and AMD commercials.

 

Or watch....anything really, you could go watch paint dry and get more entertainment than this

 

I never thought I would say this, I HOPE the world ends tomorrow for me having to say this,

 

but you could go watch F**KING TWILIGHT and be more entertained.

never said truck sim is worst that ms offering, i admit that a game i'm not interested, gg for those that do, i'm just amazed despite the little stuff ms shown has been more that what the majority of the stuff we have seen which is incredible given they have their console to take care for

The one thing I've learned from today isi that blizzard makes amazing trailers, warcraft movie is going to be good.

its no mans sky, confirmed simultaneous pc and ps4 release, tbh one of the best news to come out tonight, this show was so bad -.-, i'm just going to sleep, i hope this doesn't happen again never, at least not in this format and not this long

So you have MS, Sony, Nintendo and other publishers showing game presentations that were quick, straight to the point, and letting the game itself generate the hype (as scripted as some may be).

 

And then we have our beloved PC platform with a chance to shine in E3 for all the masses to finally take notice.  And we come with... a talk show with devs... A TALK SHOW... WITH. DEVS. 

 

Listen, while I'm all for hearing the technical aspects of the game and its design from the devs themselves, that's more suited in print / web / blog format.  NOT a freakin' E3 show.

Think they were the only ones the said anything about a resolution availability/plans for PC.  This was really just gamer, and not much PC.

However AMD put their prototype PC on a desk and not have it get attacked by several screwdrivers ripping it apart to check out its guts in a room filled with PC guys is beyond me.

I just don't understand those people at all.

It fit the theme of PC more by announcing literally nothing of value? Is that what our main platform of gaming is all about?

 

When I watched Sony's conference they started with Last Guardian (which admittedly I still know fuck all about but the previous games by the developer were good), what looks like an awesome new IP, another new IP that looks really cool called Dreams, some Battlefront gameplay, a remake of one of the most beloved games of all time, and Shenmue fucking 3. 

 

What we got here was Indie, indie, indie, games we'd already seen, expansion pack, expansion pack, indie, indie, hardware, hardware, and lots of talking. 

 

We have the best platform for gaming. This was not representative of that.
