Posted June 1, 2015 Apparently the 980 TI Kingpin will be released soon, from the looks of it they've already got it done. Vince Lucido "Kingpin" leaked a picture of it earlier on his facebook, and I don't believe EVGA has announced anything about it yet. I'm extremely looking forward to it, if it's only a few extra bucks over the Classified variant, I will probably pick one up! I'm unsure how set the specs of it are, but it's supposed to have an 8+8+6 pin, with 14+3 phases. I really look forward to picking one up and pushing it to the limits with a waterblock when those are released! I am still going to stick with a normal 980ti, but if i find a decent deal (LOL right) on one i will snap that up quickly. Yeah they're usually an extra 50-100$ I believe, they seem to be catered more to Ln2 / Dry Ice / Watercooling users than for Air coolers. You really won't get crazy clocks out of it until it's under water from what I've seen from past KPE's. It usually has a ~25 mhz overclock extra over the classified as well.
