easy to do when you just do the original twists backwards. just saying.

 

I bet with 99.9% certainty that if i mixed up the cube and handed it tot he person they would not solve it in 13 seconds.

You do it like an algorithm. To my understanding you just need to memorise how to progress from each configuration of the cube.

I'm only able to solve the first two layers, and the cross of the last layer thus far

 

Gotta sit down with pen and paper in order to properly work out how to solve it.

Don't think I've ever held one that wasn't a cheap piece of junk that would break or jam up when trying to solve it.

Some rubik cube have logo instead of just a solid color, those can bring some challenge as not only all the same logo has to be one side, all of them need to be right side up.
