I'm sure the 4790k can run CSGO with all the bells and whistles with integrated graphics but you might want a GPU to accompany it for other games

Spoiler

i5 4670k, GTX 970, 12GB 1600, 120GB SSD, 240GB SDD, 1TB HDD, CM Storm Quickfire TK, G502, VG248QE, ATH M40x, Fractal R4

Spoiler

i5 4278U, Intel Iris Graphics, 8GB 1600, 128GB SSD, 2560x1600 IPS display, Mid-2014 Model

Spoiler

All the parts are here, just need to get customized cords to connect the motherboard to the front panel.

Haha with a 970 you'll get frame rates higher than your refresh rate whether it be 60hz or 144hz. I get around 220-300 with an i5 and a 780

Though, that is only because CS:GO is normally frame capped at 300. :D

you are going to max out the frame limit which is 300 pretty much all the time with occasional dips here and there but nothing that another cpu would change

Why don't you just run the game yourself and set fps_max 0 to see how much you get...

nah, that is for weaklings. type fps_max 0, then it sometimes goes over a 1000.

I know. I am just saying that it is capped to that. Anyway, there is no reason to uncap it. That would just be silly start to see some stupid graphic bugs
