the steam release of the black mesa remake of Half Life 1 !

 

remastered single player with updated graphics

Early access....

 

Wtf...

It's because technically the game isn't complete yet. Missing Xen and multiplayer is in an incomplete state. But other than that, it's a complete game.

For f**ks sake valve, just sell the goddamned rights to Half Life 3, or Episode 3 to someone else and let them making it.

 

Seriously,  a kick starter to create it would probably make a f**k ton of cash.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

eh, its been so many years, they turned a mod to a payed copy (wich is good, but still was a free mod) only to add beta multiplayer,, and STILL NO ENDING

they would be worse than valve for half life, making us wait for the end another 10 years

At this point, the LTT forum members could create a better half life 3, in a quicker amount of time, based upon a volunteer basis.

 

We would at the very least, have more people working on it than valve would.

Just so everyone is aware (I'm sure you are) the Mod is still free from the Dev's website www.blackmesasource.com

 

The version that is on there will continue to remain free, and is available on various mod hosting sites. The Steam version will include Xen + Multiplayer. Xen was largely considered the weakest part of the original game, so many people don't even care about it. If you don't, and don't want to pay for the Steam version, then feel free to continue to play the free original Mod - which is still super fun!

 

Personally, as soon as it drops out of Early Access, I'll be picking this up on Steam. I might even get it sooner, since I've already played the existing version of the Mod, and know it's good. Even without Multiplayer and Xen, it's worth $20.

 

I heard that they were going to re-release it using Source 2 engine with totally revamped graphics? Can anyone confirm that?
