Corsair is a byword for quality, I think most people with expensive builds have corsair products in them.

That said i'm slightly alarmed as to how much corsair stuff I own and didn't realise. H100i, vengeance ram, keyboard, vengeance 2100 headset which is amazing. Good job I picked the NZXT case and upgraded my psu to an EVGA Supernova. :P

Only bad word i've against them is that their fans are too loud, h100i fans are ridiculous.

I wouldn't call it fanboy-ism, I'd call it "brand loyalty" :P

I've got Corsair RM750 and a couple of SP140s. Not complained about anything yet. Just ordered some vengeance memory.

I like them because of their alleged great customer service, long warranties and their stuff is mostly quality.

You're only a fanboy if you rabidly defend a product or a company without being provoked, even going as far as to start fights about a brand or company.

However, anyone can be provoked into defending a brand or company, given the right amount of trolling and provoking, regardless if they really like a brand or not.

Not a fanboy, because of that, if you've had nothing but good quality products why go with any other product.

Now if you start slagging off other products without first hand experience, that makes you a fanboy.

I really like corsair. I have bought their PSUs and keyboards and whenever I have a problem with the keyboard, the customer service has promptly fixed the issue. Heck, my room mate bought one of their RGB keyboards and twice, an LED died in the first week (he blames those on newegg because it looked like the box had been opened before, so the evidence says newegg sold a refurbished item as new). He contacted corsair and they immediately shipped out a new one from their warehouse. Works perfectly and hassle free. I have yet to have a bad experience when dealing directly with corsair.

Corsair's clc pumps die like flies. Their SSDs have deprecated controllers/nands and are overpriced for the specs/capacity. Their PSUs are generally okay, but far from being the best on the market. Seasonic, Enermax and Superflower are the best. Even though some of their PSUs are indeed Seasonic OEM.

How did you get original logo?

It was still available on New Egg for a little while after they launched the new logo. I was hoping that it was going to be fully functional and not have any issues in case I had to RMA and get the new logo. So far it has been doing well.

Red Switch original logo seems to still be purchasable on newegg

Corsair could make $600 USB cables and I'd buy one.

Would you buy a usb cable for 600$ off of me if it has a corsair logo?

Maybe it just says that you really really like Corsair? They do make good products. I'm planning on getting a mechanical keyboard and replacing my mouse with one of theirs.

A computer company?  Nah not me.  I pretty much don't care who says what about whom. Especially on the 'net, I will defend family etc if face to face but online...

I have years of experience of trying to deal with trolls (ever tried one-armed wallpaper hanging) and have taken to just ignoring them and/or killfiling them (in usenet:newsgroups).

I hate the sleeving on corsair psu cables . . .

I have a RM750. I favoured this partly for its fully black, flat ribbon cables.  However they are stiff as old boots.  I thought cable management would be

a breeze using these flat cables however it has made the cable management section a real chore.
