Star Citizen Has Now Accrued over $200 million in Crowdfunding
xentric replied to PineyCreek's topic in Tech News
200 million still isn't enough money for the huge scope of Star Citizen. Most of the AAA titles coming now these days, the budgets are much higher then 200 million. -

Not sure how I feel about Amazon giving you a list of everything we buy with your affiliate code. BUT, I'm glad too see so many people using it and you got an awesome video out of it. Can't believe some guy bought 10 monitors in 1 shot. I would love you see a video about other stuff people buy. Or a channelsuperfun video of the obscure stuff and have the team try to guess what it's for. Mite turn out to be a funny video.

I was waiting for PlayStation to release a console with 4k blu-ray support. Since they dropped the ball. I'm glad Microsoft didn't with the Xbox one S

I'm enjoying this threat so much. Great read. I use to work in retail for 8 years so I can relate. I never understood in retail why smart people turn really stupid when it comes to being customers. I'm on the sellers side. Glad we got his side of the story and the seller stayed professional. I'm not an Ebay user but I mite become one now knowing that people take it very seriously.

During high school I played a lot of the classic and burning crusade WoW. At those times when I was playing the most, my GPA was the highest. Has soon has I started to be social and meeting girls my grades dropped.

I know lots of people that have brought GPUs with them has carry-on while the rest of their computer was in the check luggage and they never had issues. Show up early with the intention that they mite want to check it out. They will do their swab test on it to check if has touched explosive material. When it all comes back negative they will send you on your way.

I have seen things like that back in the day when people use to run speakers throughout the house to their stereo systems. Maybe? Or an old alarm system wiring?

Are only the 10 series card effected by the SLI link cable/bridge? Or has some new driver effected older cards running sli?

I don't understand where this myth came from. I assume it's from people that don't understand business. Significant number of Blizzard shares were owned by a company called Vivendi Universal. Vivendi was the controlling shareholder at the time. "On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, culminating in the inclusion of the Blizzard brand name in the title of the resulting holding company. On July 25, 2013, Activision Blizzard announced the purchase of 429 million shares from majority owner Vivendi." A merge and acquisition are completely different

I want to play seated games on VR. Racing games I'm really excited about and games like Subnautica. I'm hoping for story games where the VR is used to experience the world while you play with a controller or mouse/keyboard. I know the touch controllers are cool but I wouldn't want to play a 11+ hour game standing up with touch controllers.
