5/1/2015 GTA V PC Ban Raid

Well,

Today there was a massive ban raid on PC. It is RUMORED that nearly 100k Accounts were banned. Maybe less, maybe more, I was one of them. For some reason a lot of the accounts banned were innocent. I've done nothing wrong and BOOM, Banned for 15 days. Same with 5 of my friends. Checkout the GTA V Online forums on rockstars website along with thew GTA V subreddit. Theyre exploding.

Really hoping I didn't get banned. I just tested out the single player trainer, then got bored and uninstalled it. 

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

how do you know if you were banned if you dont have the game installed (i am on my laptop for a few days and the game is on my desktop)

You shouldn't get banned, as you didn't use that online.

Well its that and R* Servers are having some super bad disconnect issues.

You should be fine as you weren't the cause of this r* may just reset your money to before you got the money given to you I had money given to me when I just entered a lobby but I still have the money and no ban.

A lot more people got banned the on those posts, many innocent. Rockstar support phone numbers were jammed when I called them.

this happened on console too, don't spend the money. Just email R* and explain what happened.

AHHHHH, so that might have been one of the reasons why the entire server just leaves and I'm like the only one there. It probably was the disconnection issue, but it seems like R* is literally doing the banning right on the spot!

 

Oh yeah, did you guys know you can get free R* and GTA V stickers from R* if you just ask on the support page?

everyone leaving the session isn't you getting banned. That's happened to me tons of times on PS3 and PC, it's just you lagging out

I got banned too, i used the FOV mod and the K-putt's sweet config to make the game look better.

Maybe I should check if I'm banned or not. If I am that's total BS because I've never played in a party nor used any hacks/mods.

i got banned to by playing with ppl that where modding. i called Rockstar and now im sending them in my video i recorded.

Does it say 15 days on the temp ban? My ban says that I've been banned from GTA online and that's it. I understand the ban raid and that they are probably not going to release any bans early because they made SO MANY mistakes.

Good thing single player is freaking super fun.

Yeah I havnt played any single player yet so Im gonna beat the campaign and use chearts I guess. F*ck you R*, I want mods. I want to be unbanned.
