well.... i have helped her with it a few times but she can do updates and virus scans on her own now, the only thing i have to do is cleaning the computer, she is not comfortable with blasting it with compressed air.

Today, my tutor was pissed off since the IT department in my school upgraded his laptop without explaining how to use Windows 10 or what benefits it has.

So in tutor time he was kind of ranting about it.

There's 3 buttons for minimize, maximize and close. The screenshot doesn't include them for some reason.

At this point I feel like the bios is what's bottlenecking boot times, not the SSD xD. Seriously, on my desktop most of the time I'm waiting for it to boot up is when it's still in the bios :P. It takes about 15 seconds until the little loading circle appears and within about 2-3 seconds it gets to my login screen, then after I login it only takes around 2 seconds to get to my desktop.

People freak out about getting nvme drives and 960 pros as well as 3D optane, but for anything the average user does SATA SSDs are fine. You need to be doing large file transfers to actually get much of a performance boost out of nvme.

thats why you activate superfast boot in the BIOS lol, if i do that on my ASRock motherboard its imposible to get into the BIOS because it loads to quickly lol

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
