I've always been worried about customs importing a Karambit into the UK. I want a rubber one more than a real one, so I am not worried to do tricks with it.

Well, Butterfly knives are illegal in the UK, so it will get seized at customs if you import it. There's probably some way to get them, but in general they are not available now in the UK.

EDIT: Edgeless versions may be available though. The laws for blades in the UK is weird. It's illegal to buy a curved, edgeless sword, but you can buy a curved, edged sword xD

If it's purely for tricks rubber or a training knife should go through, I'm not looking to do tricks with it or actually using it, tricks with a real Karambit are super dangerous if you don't know what you're doing:

Oh, I don't want a real butterfly knife, and I knew those ones were. I'm more interested in a real Karambit than anything else.

For the butterfly, I'd get a fake one as well as a fake bayonet.

God... I don't know why anyone would want to do that to someone else. That looks amazingly painful.

Same, I think it's cool being able to see the bone so open and clean like that.

It does look like it got nicked though, which is going to cause a lot more pain than the flesh being cut will.

And If I ever got annoyed with someone....This is my favourite. Had it almost 2 decades now.

I have a machete that looks like this but is slightly longer. About two and a half feet long.

Yeah I've butchered enough animals to know how effective knives are, more reason to not fuck around with them.

But yeah, do you know as of where I could find a rubber version of the Karambit you linked?

I don't think you'll find a rubber replica of the one I linked, there are only metal training ones on that site anyways:

http://www.karambit.com/shop/training-gear/training-karambits

Just search around on Ebay or Amazon and you might find something.

It's not hard to take a block of rubber and cut it down, core it out and stick a dowel in there for rigidity.

A pencil can put your eye out just as easily. Being scared of something only increases your chances of getting hurt because you're more likely to do something stupid with it.

Yeah add it to the other millions if not billions of freak accidents that can kill you at any given moment...

I'm not afraid of knives, nor do I see what that has to do with it.

Having a knife in situations where you shouldn't only gives you that added incentive to try and use it.

Which will most likely lead to one of three things:

1. you being untrained in it's proper use, resulting in you hurting yourself or others

2. your opponent managing to take your knife away and using it to hurt you or worse the ones you love

3. you succeeding in your actions and possibly fatally hurting your opponent, effectively responding with the same violence you were attempting to stop
