Yeah add it to the other millions if not billions of freak accidents that can kill you at any give moment...

 

I'm not afraid of knives, nor do I see what that has to do with it.

 

Having a knife in situations where you shouldn't only gives you that added incentive to try and use it.

 

Which will most likely lead to one of three things:

1. you being untrained in it's proper use, resulting in you hurting yourself

2. your opponent managing to take your knife and hurt you with it or worse the ones you love

3. you succeeding in your actions and possibly fatally hurting your opponent, effectively responding with the same violence you were attempting to stop

Honestly if you manage to do that because you're untrained, not my problem, go learn. That doesn't mean knives are a bad thing. Just reaffirming that humans are idiots.

Stout-ish knives like that are a personal favorite of mine, very easy the handle and rugged if they use good metal.

 

Yeah, I lost it playing airsoft :( i lost my first knife that way too ><

 

Looking for a new knife at some point but no idea what to get

A human body is flesh and muscle, pretty much anything a little bit pointy can penetrate you with enough force.

I don't see the problems with wearing knives, especially in America, where there are places as Flint (Michigan) where you're gonna need to use that knife pretty much every day.

If I were to buy a knife i wouldn't wear it anywhere anyways.

 

Yep, freak accidents will be freak accidents. Doesn't justify carrying a knife. I have nothing against people collecting knives as long as they're safely locked up and not used for carry. :)

I don't like the handle on the Bayonet, it looks like it can twist in your hand too easy because of the shape.

The reason I want it is just because I think they look cool and because it's rubber it wont hurt me or anyone else.

HAHA of course.. but I never run out :P thats why I carried a backup TMP AND 2 sidearms after my primary :D (plus an extra couple thousand rounds in loaders on my back)

No we used to have maintenance days where we would go down and fix up the site, came in useful!

I used to carry it but keep it concealed in a side pouch but I left it open :(

I have a fake KABAR that I keep attached to my vest for looks :D

I would LOVE to, but some idiot would probably grab it off me in a rage and stab me or something, or I would fall over and it would stick in my face

Here though? Nah, it's somewhat safe but I at least keep it in my vehicle. Sometimes pulling a knife is enough to get people to stop what they're doing.

 

I find very loud noises work well here. No one wants to have all the attention on them when they're doing something wrong.

Yeah I wish it were the same here but it's not. It all depends on where you live. Plus, knives can become very handy if you need to cut something quickly.
