For what looks like a budget Hi8 camera made in what looks like 2002, it has some damn good focus. And zoom, for that matter.

Had Five Guys (insert all obvious puns here... I had a lot yesterday...)
Went to a hotel
Hotel does not have Ethernet hooked up any more, only WiFi, even though there are ports in the rooms and Pin5 seems to provide power...

It's the noise - it hides the true lack of detail.  If it was totally clean and you upscaled it, you would notice the blurring a lot more.

Yeah. I did a clean upscale and yes it did look blurrier but it didn't actually look bad.
