@wcreek @iamdarkyoshi Noob Question: If I uninstalled the audio drivers, will the speakers stop producing sound?

It depends. If windows can find a generic driver for your sound card, it will use that for your sound card, so you will have sound, if it cannot, you will have no sound.

Windows 8 and 10 are usually quite good with generic drivers, so probably yes. Windows 7 is a lot more hit and miss, so probably no.

Opened the task manager and CPU usage of the sound drivers are up to 35%. Not normal tbh

You can always reinstall the driver if you end up with no sound, and agreed, that is not right.

I'm at work, I have no work to do, I have an internet connection and I still get paid to sit at this desk.  It's up to you people to entertain me.  Begin! :o

Today I'm going to disassemble a PSU to cut excess wires off of it for a small form factor build... Because modular PSUs are for chumps. :V

Just make sure to drain the caps, and not through yourself :P

Don't worry, we're doing it at a fully equipped hacklab.  Same place that had the vented paint hood area when I was spray painting a SF450 PSU with paint that contained metal. :)  A full suite of everything you need to not kill yourself... Or to certainly kill yourself.

This is a potato quality video from 2008. This device "International Dance Party" could've been very cool but the requirements for it to function properly is just stupid.

Personally, I'd say Netflix and chill or watch Masterchef or watch Joe's videos. ?
