Is it safe? if not, why?

Share your opinion.

 

Why this question apears in this section? Because putting magnets on PC cases is useful to leave notes on them for important things. (lol no apps)

 

It's not me doing it but just a question.

My computer is littered with magnets.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

little weak fridge magnets? yea that's fine. Just keep em away from where your hdd is, and where the monitos are. Though, it probably cant affect your hdd, but you never know, you could have uber fridge magnets.

Don't put Neodymium ones anywhere near your fans or hard drives :P

Its safe as long as it isnt near stuff like HDD, motherboard, etc...

That's why they can be affected. Strong magnets can mess with them

the range of magnets is very small. unless you have a crazy strong magnet or its on the HDD itself. using them to attach side panels or to stick things on your case is perfectly safe.

i'd just keep my notepad with me at all times. its better. B) :D
