Having had dogs for most of my life and just recently getting cats.

I like the "aesthetics" of cats more, but I like the overall "functionality & features" of dogs more. So dogs.

The dog is a man's best friend. Always there for you, always happy to see you, will always love you...

 

Every cats I've had were either that one a-hole who tries to kill me every time it sees me, or that loner that doesn't want anything to do with me.

I think I've gone a week without seeing my cat before... There are exceptions to this, yes, but the exceptions act like dogs so might as well get a dog instead of taking a gamble.

 

Also, cat poop outside of the litter box smells like death.

I like both cats and dogs. I have an annoying cat that has to lay on my keyboard, and 2 English Mastiffs that lay in my full size bed and I sleep in the chair. Story of my life but I love then too death.

I say dog. I well trained dog would be best but sadly i have never owned a well trained dog just a bunch of untrained dogs, well we tried to train them but they were all just a bunch of asses we can get them to do just about anything as long as they want to do it lol
