Asus attacks Apple Watch buyers with flow chart that concludes ‘You are really out of your mind’

CoolaxGaming

Are you buying a Pebble Time/Pebble Time Steel

Yes: Congratulations! You just passed Kindergarten's IQ entrance examine

No: Sadly, you are either brainwashed, not seeing the benefits of a smartwatch or just crazy.

I picked up the LG G-watch (not round :( ) back on black friday sale...299 marked down to 99 on the play store.  Couldn't be happier. If I had paid 300 I would have felt totally ripped off and 'insane'. For a hundred dollars it keeps time, gives me notifications, g.now and voice commands. In the age of phones getting bigger and bigger (and harder to pull out your pocket, especially while seated)...the wearable will come into its own.
349 minimum for A.watch is nuts. Proper insane.

In a world where the blind leads the blind, who do you follow?

i5 3570K @ 4.3, Dual GTX780, 3x 1080 27" samsung cheap displays.

512 Samsung SSD with 1TB green, 2TB green, and 2x3TB Red, 4x4TB Red.

In all fairness, lets keep in mind they ARE referring to the $10,000 Gold watch.. Not just the "Apple Watch" as OP stated, and not as most of you are commenting about. Just the "Golden Apple" is referred to. And at $10,000 for ANY WATCH, hell, ANY ITEM of this size in the world, that is a shit ton of money. And most would agree $10K is obviously not watch the watch COSTS, only for what it SELLS. So it's nearly impossible to say the phrase "it's worth it". Maybe to you and your deep pockets, but even a millionaire could agree.. That's a ridiculous thing that Apple is doing with this. Though, it's getting attention. And, they'll sell enough to justify them doing it. So it's a win win for everybody.

So in what way is this topic so surprising? Because its ASUS saying it? So what.

I hate how the world is becoming so damn drastic & dramatic!

Buying a watch witch a hardware, that will make it's battery go *puff* in just several hours...
This is being insane in this kind of "shiet". xD

I mean, what's the point of buying a darn watch, that will only able to work at most half a day and cost like... Apple? D:

I guess that they've triggered the "Who will bend more" time event... Am I right, @Rohith_Kumar_Sp ?  ^ ^

Haha I guess someone had to say it.  Until we get smart watches that are both waterproof to say 10-20 meters not just resistant under 1 meter for 30mins that are able to last from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon I don't see any of them being remotely useful to me personally.

Can SOMEONE'S marketing PLEASE start being of the ilk, "YOU NEED A SMART-WATCH BECAUSE..."

Because until someone coherently verbalises the point of any of their products I am not going to buy one.

^This right here

The marketing departments of pretty much all companies are bagging the shit out of each other and saying no don't buy that, buy this. Without even stating at all why we should, and how their product is better.

We do not sell cosmetics. We just blind animals."

I'm buying an Apple Watch just to spite this forum

:)

I assume you're joking but that would suite the maturity of the average forum user so would be rather fitting.

can some one answer me a question about smartwatches?

i have a nexus 5 and pair it to my car bluetooth for phone calls and Aluratek 30-Pin Bluetooth Music Receiver that is also attached to my car

can i push music and phone calls to these devices using a smartwatch?

I cannot for the LIFE of me understand why any right-minded human being would WANT to do this..?

But your answer is.. I mean... Yeah, you can.. lol. Maybe just a handful of songs too.

But... I mean... It has logic inside of it.

Who'd put up and ad with saying "We've produced a new ... something." and that's the whole announcement. I mean, it's all about comparing, since it's the most basic thing you do while shopping for things, you evaluate their real cost for what you're really buying. ; )

At least that's what I think...

ASUS didn't get First Blood.

Other companies, namely this one, beat them to the punch. Link is to the post:

Speaking of Asus, is the Padfone actually good yet?

Probably not, just like the giant iPhone 6.

No I mean the PadFone, not the FonePad (seriously wtf are you thinking, Asus?)

I don't like phablets, I found the Galaxy Note silly when that first came out. The PadFone, though, I thought was an awesome idea.

They have a point yes. Is it funny? Not really. And name calling competitors and insulting their customers is cheap as mildew and low as bedrock no matter how right they may be.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
