I found a miner with some optimizations for win64: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9cvOfoOekSdVmY1S1lOS1dPVmM/view?usp=sharing

The setup is the same as for the pool version, and on my athlon 760k the hashrate increased from 170-180kh/s to over 300kh/s, although your results may vary.

 

I got AVG detecting the following threats;

They may detect it as a miner exploit/virus as some unscrupulous companies bundled mining software with their stuff.

Cryptominers are going to show up as "Bitcoin Miner" in almost all antivirus programs because there is no exclusion for them. When I ran my scans, I was looking for anything other than "Bitcoin Miner" to come up in the scan. The most we can do is submit tickets to anti-virus producers to add these programs to their white-lists. Otherwise, the programs are safe to use. Kaspersky and Sophos have not flagged the processes as they run on my girlfriends Surface Pro 3, or my school workstation.

Can anyone access maxminers or supernovas main page?

 

I guess this is why I am getting the http fail for the bat file.  Dam, wanted to try the optimized miner.

Oh yeah, it pinged that for me too. 

 

Considering it didn't ping the recommend miner (which is also minerd), I think it just doesn't have this one on the whitelist. I mean, it is correct, at least partially. It is a miner, just one we chose to install vs a virus miner. No idea why it says linux though...

 

So far I've been running it just fine. Likely a false positive.

Does the pool version work fine?If it does, then copy the .bat file from there to the folder you have the optimized miner and try running it.

I don't know how to run a pool version.  :mellow: Someone should make a guide because I want double profit!

Holy *&^% those are some crazy hash rates.  I can just hit 1,000KH/s with both my 3770k and 930 running with the optimized miner.

Peaked 650kH/s on my i5 @ 4.15Ghz (Using the x64 miner) Before this my Peak was 350kH/s.

Average 580-600kH/s usually though...

 

I've made more coin in the last 12 hours straight than I did in the last two days doing 6-8 hours each.... (off daily and on nightly, not constant)

More shares, more profit, really don't want GPU mining to be a thing with this coin..

My GPU usage is 0% while mining and the clock speed stays constant at 300Mhz.

Page back or more there is a x64bit miner. It close to doubles the hashrates.

I put the exact batch file from my original miner folder into that x64 folder without any changes to it.

 

BTW - If you don't want to use ALL cores, put '-t #' without the quotes in the batchfile, and # = number of threads to run.

If you have a Quad, but don't wanna use it all if your also using the PC, use -t 3

 

EG Batchfile is set to triple core mode.

minerd -a ziftr -o http://zrc.maxminers.net:3331-u asdf -p asdf -t 3
