ziftrcoin?

Erm, just curious, why is this coin getting so much popularity?

Been out of the loop for quite some time, I'm guessing it's an ASIC resistant currency right?

I dived into Vertcoin, but there just was no profit there for me.

If the only reason why you guys are excited for this coin is that it is ASIC-resistant, than you obviously have done zero research about cryptocurrencies.

Explain. Almost every crypto I've seen pretty much failed a few months after launch because either there was no hype and mainstream adoption, or people with BitCoin rigs killed it. The ASIC resistant coins seemed to last longer than others. Over time, SOME were able to be mined with ASICs.

Over 600kH/s (seen 627kH peaked) on my i5 4690 @ 4.15Ghz

U mad? :)

Watercooled @ 62*c

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

im not mad because i didnt overclock my cpu ;D i can clock it at 4.6 Ghz i think but i want to keep the watts and the temps down :)

Yeah, keeping minimal watts is essential. You in a pool or solo?

I'm currently only using 80w at load. (Seen with Aida64 sensors while mining)

I did expect your stock i7 to be faster than my i5 even with it's light overclock.

What miner are you using?

I'm using minderd and I'm pulling 400KH/s on my 4690K @ 4.5GHz.

Almost at 10k shares in 1 run though :)

I found a miner with some optimizations for win64: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9cvOfoOekSdVmY1S1lOS1dPVmM/view?usp=sharing

The setup is the same as for the pool version

Still Minerd but X64, nearly doubled my hash.

350kH/s>600'ish kH/s

I copied the batchfile from the original into this and it worked all the same.

/About to see you skyrocket to the top aren't I? :)

/FK ME DEAD 10K in 1 run, your keen.

I only turn mine on around 11pm-11am, most other times I'm actively using this PC.

Wait, is ziftrcoin mine-able yet? If so, what can I use to mine it?

Just under 600KH/s on average, not sure on peak. FX-8350 at stock 4.0GHz

Mobo reports 50*C and CPU reports 46*C on AIR according to HWMonitor.

umad bro? ;) just poking fun!

I swear that guy who started that came in here for a dick measuring contest...

Nice temps btw... super nice, fanspeed aggressive or normal?

I lowered mine cos I'm sleeping with my PC (in the room, not my bed) and didn't wanna hear it.

Lol, a very well laid out case and all fans at 25% aside from heatsink which is 100% at 2000rpm.

200mm in the front, 120 at the rear, 120 on the top closer to the rear. Well cable managed, and air is passively being pulled in from the side grill, and all other openings are passively expelling air.

I've not got the 8320 and X5450 mining for now as their power/hashing ratio isn't that great TBH so I don't think you'll see me at the top for now.

I decided to give the 64bit miner a go and I'm only gaining about 80KH/s and I've bumped my clock speed to 4.6GHz :/

Although I have just rebooted from a Windows update for the first time in ~5 days so we'll see if it goes up soon.

EDIT: Now at ~695KH/s :)

The very first one mentioned in the thread. I can try to get you links in a little bit.

I can't find it. Maybe it's replaced with 64bit version ?

32bit miner

Bitdefender detects it as a virus, though it says "BitcoinMiner" so it probably is a false pozitive because antiviruses detect these miners as malware.I didn't try it, because I use the 64bit version, so let me know what results you get.

Thank You !

Started mining 1 week ago. Last two days through pool. Using i5 2500k on stock frequency I have mined 45 coins until now. I have one laptop here but with 32bit windows and i want to use it to squeeze little more ziftr juice.

I now tried it on a 32bit laptop with a 2Ghz intel core2duo.I got less than 20kh/s and the fans were screaming, so I had to stop using it for mining :(.Hope you get better results.
