living in the UK though I worry about using it due to import costs, tax etc

As a Canadian, Massdrop isn't so special. 

 

- Prices are in USD

- Shipping is often expensive

- There is a chance of having to pay border fees on expensive purchases

 

 

For an item to have a deal that is big enough to account for the stated, doesn't happen often.

 

I bought Beyerdynamic DT990s for 239.99 USD$. Ended up costing me around 350 CAD$. I could have found better Canadian based deals.

there are so many things id love ot buy there, but they cost too much to be binge buying and when i do need something its not on sale when i need it...

as a canadian the minimum shipping cost is like 30 or 40$ its outrageous more times than not the shipping cost is half the cost of the item
