No backplate? :(

 

You should give us some pics of the front so we can see better :) nice job!

 

I've been emailing MSI to see if I can get a backplate for it. They are good at ignoring me. :(

 

I'll take it out and snap some pics

I dont think so... didn't unscrew the heatsink at all, just the plastic shroud ^_^

No warranty voiding imho, because you can peel off the plasti-dip if necessary ;)

Wow. I was under the impression painting the shroud would void the warranty!

 

Now I must definitely color my future 970 black+blue+purple. B)

We shouldve done the heatsinks on your motherboard
