The new (and improved?) Linus Tech Tips intro

LinusTech

I love it. Better than any other of your intros IMHO I also love the audio. It's different and it fits it perfectly.

LinusTech Are you guys planning on using the outro from the Whole Room Watercooling series as the main outro?

It's such a great outro and should be used a lot more.

I would love a version with a metal/rock song (i.e Metallica). Maybe try it and see what people think?

Love the graphics and music - the slogan at the end is kinda "meh" to me, though.

Whole room outro still needs some work before it's ready for prime time.

Hate the music.

Still think the intro music from the WAN show would be better.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Meh, I don't really like the music choice but it's fine. It's an opinion though so you can't please everyone. Do what you like. Everyone including me will get used to it even the guy who hates it.

The old music was a great theme (from a music composition standpoint). RIP.  The new one sounds very "Generic EDM cut short." It's very "busy" and sounds like the beginning to a song vs. an intro to a video.  Being a composer, the old theme music immediately impressed me when I started watching your videos.  I will miss it for sure, but everything changes.

Alright, maybe an outro similar in style in the future?

Look, I like change but I'd rather stub my toes with a 14lb lump hammer then to see that intro again. I detest the 'Material' fascination someone on your team now seems to have and the music is awful. But that's my opinion. I'm sure there will be lots on here who will thoroughly enjoy it. Still as long as you don't change the actual content of your videos then I can just close my eyes and stick my fingers in my ears for the first 10 seconds or so.

It's not bad, the slogan at the end doesn't really work and the music could be changed though.

I like the animation, but not the music, and the slogan at the end is meh.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I really liked it but there are a couple of things I would have changed. I would have liked it to been a bit longer (13-15 seconds) and as others have mentioned, the catch phrase at the end could be improved to be more catchy!

other than that, its great. Well done! :)

It's good.  better than the previous one, but to this day i still prefer the old one with Linus coming out of the box..

if you want me to critique it at all tho.. the music is just okay, and the slogan at the end is less professional than the rest of the video.  but I really like it either way so  yeah..   it's Great!
