I saw a troll post on the news section and started wondering. Would they take over my entire life. What if Google bought microsoft and partnered with amazon. Thats my entire online life right there. I would be so tied in that it might force me to move to linux and other open source softwares.

The EU wouldn't allow that, but it would be fucked up, you don't want monopol anywhere

Although I don't think the EU would be involved because both Microsoft and Google are US companies...

The EU can because they are working within the EU, so

Windows support would die the second the next version comes out, and you can't update without having the hardware oem validate the os and filling it with a bunch of shit on it, also all their software would eat all your resources just to be .5 second faster, and the os becomes useless without internet

they already bitched around that google is so big that they want the search engine to be a own company
