2015 Tech List for Long Airplane Rides

AlwaysFlexin

I'm planning on doing some traveling here soon and I'm looking for some cool tech ideas to make the flying more enjoyable. If we can think of enough cool stuff, let's try to avoid things like headphones and such, I'm talking about nifty tech gadgets or anything you guys can think of!

Black/Red Beast: CPU: i7 4790k Cooling: Hyper 212 Evo MB: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 GPU: MSI GTX 980 RAM: 16GB 1866 HyperFury X SSD: 256GB Samsung Evo 840

Make sure the airplane has safety equipment etc..

  • A neck pillow
  • A battery bank (if you can't charge your phone on the plane)
  • Laptop cooler (more for your comfort than anything else)

Sig under construction.

If you have a decent rooted Android device then get a battery bank (if no charging available on the plane), a PS3 controller, and a PS1 emulator.

Good idea! My tablet is rooted and setup with my PS3 controller, haven't put any emulators on it yet though.

Nvidia Shield would be nice for emulating.

I usually just take an iPad loaded with books and tv shows, but never end up using it.

Usually I watch whatever I haven't seen on the in flight entertainment, order dinner, hit the bar, eat dinner and go to sleep.

These lists look pretty similar to my current list which right now is the following:

-Gaming Laptop (Although I rarely break this out on the plane, I don't trust people a foot away from my electronics)

-Headphones (Don't have noise cancelling ones yet)

-2x Battery Banks for a total of like 16000mAH

-Xperia Tablet mostly used for watching TV shows and movies

-3DS, recently started playing this more

That's about it. Might start bringing my PS3 controller for my tablet or buying a shield.
