Considering my dad was the one to get me into tech and computers, he is pretty keen on having a decent PC.

So to replace his ancient and decrepit Dell desktop, I specced and built him this earlier this year:

i7 4770k (@Stock)

Gigabyte Z87MX-HD3

16gb Corsair Vengeance LP 1600

EVGA GTX 660Ti FTW+ 3gb

Seagate 4tb SSHD

Arc Mini R2

Corsair H60 V1

be quiet! Pure Power L8 630w CM

3x be quiet! Pure Wings 2s

All in all, a pretty beastly rig. It was built with the intention to do some video editing on it, in addition to everyday Excel work.

Laptop wise he has a 14" ASUS Vivobook with an i7 3357U.

My Mum has a S775 potato for a desktop, and some okay HP Business laptop for work.

mom has a sony vaio which actually isnt garbage, and my sister has a lenovo flex 15, which is actually quite nice.

This is what my dad has ---> HP Pavilion p6-2330 H3Y77AA Desktop (3.6 GHz AMD A6-5400K Processor, 6GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, Windows 8) Black he also has like a circa 2010 or so compaq presario notebook I know he got it around the same time my mom had got her macbook.

My mom before she died had a 2010 macbook, which has been sitting in my dad's office at his house almost unused since nov of 2011 when my mom passed, I have used it a few times since then.

My girlfriend uses my Asus G73jwa1 most of the time, 4 years old now and it is still a beast of a laptop compared to your average box store laptop.

I don't know what kind of computers my brother has, and my sister said she has some asus laptop.

I made my son two pcs and he no longer uses them as he would rather console game playing NHL 15 on Xbox 360.  As for other family members well I have an idea of what my brother's rig has and I recently loaned him a Mushkin Joule 1000 watt psu which has worked out fine but other than that i don't know what family is using.  Part of not knowing is their idiocy in not letting me build for them over the years instead buying pre-made garbage.  It was a slap in the face to me.  Anyway we pretty much have severed ties so who gives a ****.

In regards to the two computers my son has I will update them here in this post in the future.
