Intel XTU for Intel 8th gen?

I am on a machine with an i5 8350U. For troubleshooting, I need Intel XTU. The latest version does not support it. On my 10th gen machine, I downloaded some older version and it worked. I believe (not entirely sure) that I downloaded that same version but it still says "unsupported platform". I downloaded some other versions, and even much older like Intel 4th gen supporting versions, but they all still give the same error. I thought it was because I was using Windows 11, but the same problem is on 10.

 

Yes I know there is a hacky program on GitHub to install the latest version, but that doesn't give any meaningful options to tweak on my 10th gen machine. The version that I installed that worked does have meaningful options that I can tweak.

Also, Dell is evil, but HP kinda nice.
