Will this graphics card work with my current setup?

I'd try to shoot a little bit higher. GTX 770 or wait for the GTX 960 release. That would be a better match for your i7.

who cares...

What's your power supply wattage? Because it running depends on the PSU.
Edit: Yes it should looking at the power consumption on these pages:

It would be able to run a GTX 750ti pretty much no matter what. The card doesn't even draw 100W on full load.

I think it's draws around 70 Watts, or there about on full load.

That is overkill for even a high end AMD card, so you'll be fine. (It will work perfectly).

Its rated at a 60W TDP, apparently its limited to less than 40W by its bios....

but since my i7 is a 2nd gen wouldn't it get bottlenecked? i just bought a samsung 850 evo 500g ssd on amazon so that will be in my pc as well thought i'd mention it.

no, that i7 will be fine for quite a long time, even a 980 won't bottleneck with it. If it was an older core 2, then you would get bottlenecks, as much as 51%.

The 750ti will be a HUGE bottleneck in games. Spend a lot more my friend.

ok but i'm worried that it will not work when i swap my old amd graphics card with an nvidia card since my motheroard is not very common. this pc was custom built by hp so idk.

No no its not. The 750 ti uses like 10w more than its curent card and doesnt need external power connector

Yea. But a 970 would suit you better.

PEGATRON is a pretty awesome motherboard name.

What is the PCI Express lane? Is it 8x? Also for a decent budget card since your PSU can handle it, i reccomend a R9 290. They hover around $250 alot and perform just under the 970 (like 7-15 frames but on 60hz it dosent matter).

The performance improvements on CPUs has slowed down a little bit. You can calculate around 5-10% performance increase from generation to generation. So 80% the performance of a i7 4770. Still very good. It will be a good match for every graphics card out there.

I think those recommended wattages are for the whole system. Just open up your PC and read the label on the powersupply. OEMs tend to save a few bucks on the PSU.
