OK, I am following this, if only for the cat pics, because I'll be damned if that cat isn't perfect for the camera.

That cat would be perfect for a "Caption this" contest. :P

Well, that and maybe a little bit of nostalgia for the 800D...

srry no cat photoshoot this time  :(

Really nice. Love it  :D

Thanks man :D

Your cat is scary. Nice build log.

but...but...it's so warm and fluffy
thanks

OH THE HUMANITY!!! Pick up a can of pressurized air and spray that baby down.

Give it a quick bath on non-electrical components. It's much faster.

Ooooofffffff, acryllic block cover... I hope that never cracks on you. Acetal and full-metal are my usual recommendations specifically for that reason. I've seen acryllic EK and Aquacomputer tops fail and ruin a machine, but best of luck.

Never experienced that before, I've used acrylic blocks for 5 years now and I've never had a problem.

but I'll keep an eye on it

Yeah we put our radiator in a bath and hosed down our case before rebuilding. Like hell we were going to try to use compressed air to get all the dust and cigarette smoke out of it lol...

On the acryllic blocks, I wish you luck. I really do, but I've seen disaster strike and it sucks when it does. Hopefully EK has found a way to prevent most of those.

cigarette smoke

I hope they quit or they're going to ruin this beautiful build again

He has to before moving down to Cape Charles, Virginia in the next year. I mean, I can clean anything, but if you look at my build log called "Retiring the Black Beast" you'll see what nearly 8 years, even with using compressed air every month, can really do to the inside of a case, the water cooling pipes, and the heat sinks on the VRMs...

I'd personally would go for this:

Otherwise my choice would be #1
