  1. This is by far your best option to buy a new keyboard, the switches don't have the same great reputation that you get when buying a keyboard with cherry mx switches, but they are still outstanding. The difference between their blues and the cherry mx is only notable if you compare them side by side or if you have had your cherry mx switches for a long time. The other option which is also very viable is to browse the web for 2nd hand keyboards as SCGazelle suggested.
  2. No, forgot about that! Any recommendations or a place on this forum where I can further investigate?
  3. I think it is, I have tried offline servers for practicing aim and am still having the same issues.
  4. Hello guys! I am mainly playing CS:GO and am encoutering some problems with the monitor I have now (Phillips Brilliance 220CW, 75Hz, 2ms repsonse time, 1680x1050, connected with DVI-D). This monitor quite often stutters when I'm playing CS:GO even though I am getting ~250FPS in game. My first question is, is there a way to resolve this? If not, can someone recommend me a 1080p monitor with a refresh rate of ~80+ Hz, 21"+, for under €150,-. I myself found the BenQ GL2450E but I was wondering if it is possible to get a higher refresh rate monitor in the same price range.
  5. Thanks for the replies, so the difference will be minor, especially when it comes to the keyboard. I don't really like the 'gamer look' that the G series of Logitech has, I'm more a fan of the desgin that Zowie has. Unfortunately all their mice are over 55 euros for me. Any other good suggestions, or should I just stick with this untill I'm willing to spend more? EDIT: Found this: http://genesis-zone.com/en/product/g33-optical-gaming-mouse/ How do I determine wheter or not the sensor that's being used is good? Are there certain specifications I should look out for or does this com
  6. Yeah if the 3,5mm - USB adapter is the solution this would be my second question. These adapaters are between $2,- and $50,-. My headphones were ~$30 so investing $50 in an adapter would be stupid. So my question is: Is it worth it investing ~$10 instead of ~$2? Note that I'm only using these headphones for gaming, so the sound just has to be decent and that's about it.
  7. So something like this would solve it? http://www.amazon.com/External-Adapter-Desktop-Notebook-Laptop/dp/B001MW92AE/ref=sr_1_25?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449397840&sr=1-25&keywords=usb+to+audio
  8. Hello there LTTF, A couple of days ago I bought Creative HS800 headphones which are working fine. There is just one small inconvenience, I am unable to switch between the headphones and my speakers. My speakers are plugged directly into my motherboard from the back and my headphones are plugged into the frontpanel of my case. As soon as I plug my headphones in, I get the following pop-up: As soon as I press the "OK" button it will turn of my speakers and use my headphones instead. When I plug in both my speakers and headphones and select playback devices it will just show "spea
  9. That is one good looking case and some great engineering! What is your job exactly if I might ask? Keep up the good work!
  10. Looks fine for the usage you are planning on if you ask me, just to be sure you aren't planning on overclocking the CPU as that won't be possible with this build. Only thing I would change is the HDD to a WD blue instead of the WD green you chose, the blue one is a bit more reliable over it's lifetime and a bit faster for almost the same price.
  11. Oh sure, ASRock H81M-HDS Miro Atx would be a good choice I think.
  12. B85 mobo not H71 in this case but I would go for this: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/fBWDVn
  13. The A10 would bottleneck the 285 a bit less than the A8 in CPU heavy games, however it would be a waste of money IMO. Since you would only get a slight increase of your FPS. If I were you I would either buy a 285 now or wait untill you can afford an i5 4460+H81 Mobo with an R9 380x/GTX 960/GTX 970 which comes in at about $550,- CAD. The i5 4460 will render faster than te A8, which i5 was it that you used?
