you could probably say that.

I myself have made my keyboard, numpad and usb extension as well as a few key caps that i use

http://imgur.com/a/Nf5re

and @TheProfosist has probably invested more money in custom usb cables alone for his custom keyboards then most people even think of spending on a keyboard and a mouse lol

Mine is one of these

Somehow the actuation weight of Clears was wrong in the original post. Fixed.

It says that clears are for me. Any keyboard suggestions?

Well, as long as you understand that clears are fairly heavy. quiet, rare (expensive) and have a tactile bump and you're OK with that...

There's like 2 options unfortunately.

There's a custom keyboard from WASD which allows you to choose switches, keyboard size and color of the keycaps to your preferences. There's also the WASD CODE keyboard which comes with Clears. That's all I can seem to find sadly. Dunno where all the Clears are going man!

As I'm typing this I'm writing a program - a simple one using Scratch - to make the quiz a LOT better than what it is now. Right now, one answer corresponds to one switch. Using Scratch I can correspond multiple switches to each answer.

I'll change it when it's finished.

Alrighty, I'll have to finish the new quiz tomorrow. It's gonna be awhile before it's finished.

I got Reds. I think that's quite accurate because I use my keyboard more for gaming than for typing.

Great quiz. I think I'll send it to a few of my friends and find out what switches are best for them :D

Haha, thanks man!

Some data and a poll.

I don't trust the validity of either of those - Razer Greens are a bit heavier than Cherry MX Blues for a start.

Also, No way MX Greens rate higher than Blues in gaming. I use Greens and they hurt to game on for more than an hour.

:) Lol, I agree with you. It says 'similar to' in the column heading and in the poll only 133 people voted for the green data so it likely has more than .09 delta in ratings between the two silly. /heart

The data and poll are as accurate as they are represented. If you find differently I'm always willing to adjust given more accurate data.

What key type is similar to the RazerGreen switches? I was assuming the CherryMX Blues but I wanna be sure. I plan on getting a Ducky Shine keyboard. What is similar to the greens but a little quieter? Just wanna get a second opinion so I know I'm getting the right switch for me :)

Quieter = browns or clears. Blues or greens are most similar, however the Razer greens are somewhat heavy. I think you should try clears if you want no click.

It told me I should get MX Blacks. I do agree with that. I use reds and I find them okay to type on but a little too light. I dont mind the stiffer blacks because I mostly bottom out regardless of what games I play. They are a bit hard to find though.

I wish there was a more accessible Cherry MX switch that is between the Reds and Blacks. I still feel the blacks are too heavy, and the Reds too light. I liked the feel of Kailh Yellow switches, but of course they're Kailh, and I don't like the look of the keyboards.

The romer G switches feel like if you put gum on your finger, put your finger on the table then remove your finger. Thats how a romer G switch feels like.
