There are always those rotten bananas to ruin the bunch, but of a person in his position, surely - surely - he knew the repercussions of saying this. Especially at a time when they are at the status they are currently at with their customers.

Calling people entitled is like using the hater defense. Used by idiots, and a jedi mind trick that only works on idiots. We laughed at EA when they said it. We laughed when Colin Moriarty called us all Entitled gamers and we are laughing at you Ubisoft. EA had to learn the hard way and now you are taking a page out of their playbook which they have since burned...

After all that's happened, I seriously question whether Ubisoft has the PR savvy to understand the repercussions of their public statements.

 

This one is kinda personal. I have to wonder how closely that 10% figure represents us, the core gaming community, the ones who actually understand the gravity of their missteps. Maybe they mean us.

Only 10%? I'm pretty sure the number of poisonous and entitled "gamers" are way up into the 25-30% range. Though the general concept of people being entitled to things seem to be on some kind of pandemic in recent years... Gosh people, you are not entitled to anything.

Here is his twitter. This is the same guy that called everyone pirates, even though people bought the game through VPN, the game came out with that FOV problem a day early and people were playing it legally that day.  So apparently everyone in New Zealand, Australia are pirates. People who got the game early legally were pirates and he seems to think offline mode means you have no internet access. This after the people probably played OFFLINE to see if it fixed the stuttering, or worried about performance, when their OFFICIAL STATEMENT told us to play their last game OFFLINE.
