Its actually just depth perception I think! The piece of fish was cut into a rectangle but the tail of the fish tapers off a bit giving a bit of a triangle look from that angle.

so at the local grocery store in Canada... walking around the asian food section stuck between the soy sauces and noodles is this...

 

I had some bread dough fermenting in the fridge so that got quickly baked to test it out..

annnnndddd I inhaled half a jar and all the bread. I thought it would taste of garlic more or of vinegar more or spicier but its a nice smooth red pepper tasting paste it reminded me a lot of some antipasto spread I've had in the past.

You seriously found Ajvar? :D I don't think it'll ever be as good as the ones from these parts, but i think its taste should satisfy you! :D

lol if it wasn't for you guys freaking out about this stuff in this thread I wouldn't have even noticed this stuff lol

 

reading over the jar its amazing to see no additives listed on the ingredients just stuff I can buy at a grocery store which is not surprising seeing how its not made here but made in Turkey.

Well, if you had all the ingredients, you could make it yourself :D We do that here (but lately we've been buying it in stores, it's too tiresome to make it...) :)

RANT:

I saw a market that is selling Mountain Dew.

After all, we here alot about this drink so I bought the Voltage one.

WTF is this crap !!!! (its contains 46 grams of sugar).

If you really like this stuff then there is something very wrong with your tastebuds.

So, i remembered to buy Oreo to try it with milk. I know somebody on this thread swears by it (can't remember who). I stabbed it with a fork, put it in milk and eat it.

 

It's good, quite good actually, but plazma with milk is still far superior! :D

I've had something similar to that before that I made when I was extremely lazy and even my half-assed work turned out pretty good. :D

 

Wrapping a banana in bacon isn't going to make me like them anymore sadly.

Tastes completely different from bananas when you grill them. I was genuinely surprised.

"Buttered rugbrød is essentially the base on which the famous Danish open sandwich smørrebrød is created."

 

.. It is a sandwitch with stuff on it. How is this something that is "famous"?
