Things You Don't Like In PC Cosmetics?

MPX309

Ok, so there's obviously things that u like and dislike. . . and I don't so much mean u see it on someone else's rig and think badly of it, although that could be the case (not the actual case it's in, lol) But for me I am not a fan of LED fans. . . I see the attraction, and there are occasions I see builds posted where it works and looks nice, but I think if I built ten personal rigs for myself in the next year not one of them would have any LED fan in them. So what little things don't you like?

How GPU shrouds are upside down. Companies design awesome looking coolers and no one can see them because they are upside down.

I hate when they write words on your GPU and it ends up upside down when it's in the case.

I hate vented windowed side panels.

I hate anything made of aluminum, since aluminum stains really easily.

I hate everything glossy for obvious reasons.

I personally think top-mounted power supplies look awful. I don't know why, they just do. I'm glad most modern cases have them bottom-mounted.

Well it doesn't come with the case but I despise it when people put stickers on their cases. It just looks terrible.

I put the stickers on to support the companies who I buy products from.  They are usually on the top so I don't see them and they don't make my builds look ugly but if I bring my pc elsewhere well then people know what is inside of my builds and that is a good thing.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

-Vented window side panels

-Stock coolers

-non sleeved cables

-mismatched colors(black and red themed build and then blue ram... it drives me insane)

-Dvd drives messing up the look of the front panel

-Plastic

-The existence of Cit

-EA

Tbh i'm just constantly unhappy with everything.

-Dvd drives messing up the look of the front panel

This is one I'll never understand, but that's probably because I enjoy watching blu-rays on my PC, so to me the optical drive represents the ability to do something that I love, so to me it's beautiful.

-Not thoroughly trimmed individually sleeved cables like this:

600x450px-LL-1c2c3ab0_pc-cables-blueblac

I prefer the flat one's like this:

LL_zps965fb39f.jpg

-Glossy Computer parts (Cases, mouse, etc. w/ some exceptions)
-Blue/Red LEDs (I prefer Sky blue-like color LEDs)
-Aluminum Cases that got stained by finger prints
-Don't like any colored cases (Prefer plain white, black or gun metal/titanium)
-Water-cooling on custom-cooler for video cards or water-cooling on a reference designed GTX Titan/780/770
-Messy desktop screen w/ lots of icons
-M$ & EA <--- So mainstream

When people dont thing their watercooling loop through correctly so the tubes are meter long and go everywhere. Especially with wc rigs the look is so important!

Overuse of LED's. One or two is fine, and looks pretty cool - but then you get people who make their case look like a faire ground, shoving LED's everywhere and making it all look like crap.

I hate any PCB's that aren't black, and I WAY prefer a GPU with a backplate.

- Definitely joining in on the hate for vented side panel windows

- Crappy stock sleeving on PSU's

- ODD's, especially on cases with very specific finishes on the front like 350D's. Just ruins absolutely everything!

- In systems with custom loops, I hate seeing long, slack tubing runs
