Imagine if Nvidia and Noctua made a GPU together :o

TechNut1337

Okay so today I was casually watching a video and randomly imagined a sandy GPU with some poop brown fans and was like, "What if Noctua made a super cool heatsink and combined forces with Nvidia to make a super cool graphics card together!

The New GTX 980 Powered by Nvidia and cooled by the all new Noctua ____________ Cooling Unit!

What do you guys think, Is this a good idea?

What would you name the product?

What color scheme would you like to see?

Thanks Everyone!

I would prefer an AiO on my GPU.

Noctua needs to start making AiOs.

The STRIX, Twin Frozr VI, and Gigabyte G1 look like pretty tough competitors, but I guess CPU cooling isn't that much different from GPU cooling.

Well, noctua has no clue how to make PCBs or any electronics besides awesome fans, so it would be a reference card with a fancy cooler. I would like to see their take on a GPU cooler, maybe an aftermarket one that fits reference cards. That would be interesting.

I would prefer an AiO on my GPU.

Noctua needs to start making AiOs.

They would have to partner up with a company that handles the pump, reservoires tubing and fittings. And in the end it would just be their radiator and their fans. You can get very close to that by simply switching out the fans on any other AIO.

A Noctua 980/970 would be pretty cool, especially if they used a more advanced version of their noise cancelling fans they showed off a while ago.

If only I didn't want to void my warranty I'd finish my 750 Ti and put the shroud back on.

Why? Air Coolers are superior to AIOs IMO. Noctua should stick to what they know best. Leave the AIOs to Swiftech and Cooler Master.

I would be a /fan/ of it. Unless it is cream & brown.

I kinda want Noctua to try its luck at making cooling units for GPUs. They've got their legendary reputation already so might as well try it out!

They have very good engineers that could make an AiO better than anyone else. Why do you think their fans are some of the best? Because they do a lot of R&D and they have great engineers. It's not like they are limited to making just fans...

Why? Air Coolers are superior to AIOs IMO. Noctua should stick to what they know best. Leave the AIOs to Swiftech and Cooler Master.

AiOs look far better than having a block of aluminum strapped to your motherboard blocking out the view of everything else with an ugly chrome finish.

Also AiOs perform better and are easier to mount or swap when replacing components.
