Recently I just built my first pc but I have a problem I was using a 125w mobo with the 9590. Even more recently the whole system just powered off and no matter how hard I tried I cant turn the system back on I have tried literally everything. What should I do now I'm thinking about contacting the seller

Your problem is you're not using a motherboard that can handle a CPU drawing 200+ Watts. Change the mobo.

I think the 9590 is that power monster linus was talking about destroying mobos that dont have enough power delivery. Dont quote me on that. And what @FloRolf said what is a 125w mobo?? Edit: nevermind

Your problem is you're not using a motherboard that can handle a CPU drawing 200+ Watts. Change the mobo.

Well that CPU is over 220W so obviously that motherboard cannot handle it...

And why would anyone ever buy a 9590... *facepalm*

not everybody knows that. they see the number 5 and think whoa this must be better than say a 4690k at 3.5 GHz and then see its an 8 core... You get my point

What mobo(s) do you recommend

I think the sabertooth and crosshair formula can handle it but it is rather expensive. Im sure there are cheaper option but i dont know a lot about amd boards
