Well it's a bit to intense smell if you ask me. But there are cars that have there own smell of exhaust gases even if they are powered by the same type of gasoline. 

I hate the smell of diesel.

 

Not to mention this is a weird topic :D

Im 50-50 on it. Diesel and gasoline both smell pretty nice
But since i love carbs i'll say gasoline.

I used to use all sorts of petroleum derivatives in the lab, I liked none of them. Might have been the scent of carcinogens :P

there was a my strange addiction episode where this lady drank gas for like 20 years or soemthing :o

Gasoline? Oh, do you mean petrol? Anyone who doesn't love the smell of petrol obviously has a poor quality nose, as it's the best smell on earth. "I love the smell of petrol in the morning!" (Anyone who can tell me what that edited quote is from wins a James May seal of approval)

This is true, central Australia had big problems with people being addicted to petrol sniffing. Really sad part of our history.
