$17K Apple Watch. Because you really need 14-karat gold in a thing that you wear on your wrist.

What's the wrong with a nice watch?.. Look at Rolex.. I mean I could never justify buying one but I'll spend 500 on a nice watch..

But over priced tech hey.. I'm gonna say sound packs.. I've spent like 130 on samples :( lol just a bunch of noises..

Anything in Canada when the $ was at par, now with the CAD at 76cents the prices make "more" sense but some of the markup is BS.

Also Beats and old tech sold on eBay ... Seriously, some last gen GPU sell for more than the current better and faster gen "equivalent" GPU !?!?!?

Oh of course, it's not immediately expensive. Not at all. 10p to send a text message (provided you're on PAYG) doesn't necessarily sound so bad.

 

But let's break it down. A text message is one character per byte. Say, for instance, you sent a text message in length equal to the value of the text message. In this instance, ten pennies for ten characters.

That's one byte a penny. In that regard then, 160 octets 7-bit strings = £1.60.

I know it doesn't necessarily work like that exactly, but if you think about it, you're paying quite a lot for what is essentially a small string of bytes.

The FX line (now remember they are 4+ years old, and they've always been shit for the tasks AMD marketed them for-they should still be in the server market exclusively).

I like apple products... Well just the iPad/iPod. Only because I like iOS. I got my iPad 2 for free, I'd never buy a Mac or iPhone. I love my Lumia 735.

Console games, I'm not paying $60 when on steam you see it going for $20-$40 on sale. Console games never go on sale unless it's blackfriday or like Christmas sales

That exactly describes the pre Haswell refresh i7 rig that was the option above my i5 4440 rig, which ended up having a GTX 650ti OC 2GB ordered for it instead of the same GTX 650 1GB as the i7 version.

Rolex = quality manufacturing and you'll get your money worth when you trade it in after several years.

Apple Watch = hardware will be WAY out of date by this time next year, don't even thin about getting over £200 trading it in...
