Hardest/Clever Boss Fights

Boss fights:

 

True tests of skills ( at some games at least) and the reason why you did not get off you pc/console for days until you beat them up-see them lying down dead.

 

Some boss fights are unforgettable due to their high level of difficulty or their specific tricks you had to use to defeat them.

There are so many games with so many bosses but some of them challenged me (a lot) or even changed the way i think...

One of these boss fights is with the infamous Phycho Mantis in the first of the Metal Gear Solid series game (MGS1).

The way that you had to trick his psychic powers by switching the ps memory cards and the ps controller was almost unable to think of.

I am not saying that other boss fights are not that challenging (see Ornstein and Smough at Dark Souls, all the other Dark Souls bosses ect)

but this is the first one that challenged me the most ( as a kid).

 

So, what is the most difficult/clever boss you have ever faced?

I play fps's and mario soooo. Maybe the dragons in skyrim with the better dragon fight mod thing on expert when your only level 4 :P took me 2 hours

Every fukcing fight in Final Fantasy 13... man I hate this game.

 -edit the Boss fight of Bioshock Infinite (until you recognize that you have to kill the big airship), and no, I don't play games without video and without sound

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

omfg i remember that. That entire level was arse. I loved the game but i remember somehow  i lost my save that i had everything and i was sooo pissed that i never played again :P

It was such a pain jumping from platforms and starting pretty much back at the beginning.  <_< Cheesing the final fight is so much fun though.

Skyrim level 72, legendary difficulty with deadly dragons mod at the same difficulty.I had armor and weapons better than daedric,potions ect and i died in 10 seconds.I wasnt

able to even hit that thing!

I did have a archer follower but she had iron arrows and a long bow :P

Not really a boss but

All you had to do was follow the damn train, CJ! 

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

 I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

There is no doubt about which Boss i remember the most...Super Mario 3, BOWSER! I fought that bastard so many times.

 

I was just a child back then so wasn't probably as complicated but felt it.

 

Tecmo Cup, another Nintendo game is probably the worst one since the only way you had to "save" your progress was to type  long codes you received after each match....The game was based on a japanese game and then translated and so there was like 100 different letters/symbols/numbers/whatever and one mistake meant that you could not progress. and alot of the matches were almost impossible to win.

 

God, i loved and hated that game.

The one at the start of disk four of FF8. Gets me every single time...

 

Im trying again this time on PC... i hope i can get through them!
