So starting about 3 months ago yahoo mail has been marking every email I get from a new source as spam. My first problem is using yahoo mail, but I've had it for too long to switch now. Anyway, I watch LTT a lot and will sign up for the giveaways because why not. I wanted the G3 a lot so when I saw the giveaway I signed up right away. I actually won the giveaway (proof below).

Because my email has been messed up I do not get an email telling me I won  :(. In hindsight I should probably have gone on the website more often, but I can't change that now. Oh well better luck next time to me.

next time check back to the website after the giveaway to see if you have a notification, dont rely on emails :P

Get rid of Yahoo mail.

It's easy to switch. Just make it so your yahoo email forwards all emails to your new account. That way you have plenty of time to start switching the email you use everywhere and get the people who contact you know your new email.

Also, I was using yahoo mail. Made a gmail account and I'm currently slowly switching. Whenever I sign up for something, I use my gmail account. Started switching to chrome and gmail after the IE issues and my yahoo account got hacked.

i mean theres something to be said here, from what im guessing you werent really coming back anyway and if youre not apart of the community then personally i dont feel like you deserve the phone :/ but then again thats just me... but i suppose it kinda balances out if youre a huge ltt fan but regardless i encourage you to stay and hang around, dont just come for the free stuff.

Honestly I agree with you, I am mostly a lurker on the websites I go on (reddit, youtube ect.). If anything its a lesson that if I want to gain something from the community I need to be apart of it.

For the 50th time, just because someone doesn't use the forum, doesn't suddenly mean they are not part of the LTT community. Some people just subscribe to the YouTube channel, watch all the videos, comment on them, like them, and they are as much a part of the community as anyone here. Just because they don't like to use internet forums, they are suddenly not part of the community and aren't allowed to take part in competitions?

 

Even Linus/Slick/etc. has said this before, and yet you all keep parroting the "O-ONE POST WONDER! GET OUT" crap, it's so tiresome. Is it jealousy that someone else is lowering your chances of winning or something? It must be.
