I just got to the 121 floor, I found the boss quite easy.

You are the only person that has gotten past the boss xD

Where do I go to fund this?

I was thinking of making some sort of storyline, eventually. Something like Ubisoft Diggers. You dig down into the corporation's skyscraper, fighting the companies bosses along the way

The idea is not developed enough

 

You don't fund this. It is just something I made in some spare time(I have too much of it)

Yes. It will appear in floors 4-6

I do plan on making more bosses. That is why the first boss appears so early

Other players have made it to floor 15, so I assume they beat the boss too.

Oh. Those were players who tested the game. I am looking at all of the players who played after I put it on this forum

this is ballin. what do u use to code?

I use a program called Game Maker. It is just something that I am really comfortable with, and know the ins and outs. It actually has allowed me to pick up different languages with quite ease

Ah! i used to use gamemaker! it was very fun! It allowed me to go from coding concepts using the drag and drop t be able to use full coding.

Update Version 0.25 Alpha

Changes:

-Lots of little bug/visual fixes
-A lot of polishing
-Added insult generator to encourage players to keep on playing
-Overhauled the entire power-up system
-Added party hats, for the new years
 
I wanted to get this update rolled out near the new year, so here you go
I am going to try a different posting method; with more pictures. Tell me if you like it

This is kind of awesome. Great work!

 

Major bug, though:

I used Alt+Enter... Linus disappeared! Alt+Enter again didn't fix it.

I forgot that you can force full screen with alt+enter. I noticed that if you manage to get down another floor, everything reappears. I will definitely look into it though. Thanks!

No Way! I was hoping you didn't see this until the next update. @XTankSlayerX and I were working on making this more LMG themed

I honestly think you should make a github repo for this, that way the rest of the community can also work on it (and port it if you don't have the GM:Studio modules) :)

I have actually never used github before. You might have to explain some things to me(via pm)

I am totally into the idea of making it open source though. I might have to clean up a bit, because right now, my code is not clean at all

I really like that music! It is great, and will definitely get put in! Thier youtube probably deserves more views

Development is going kind of slow. I got a lot of needed things done, but it has been a long time since the last release

I am hoping to get the next update out by spring break. Then I will be putting it on github, and then hopefully I will get more help

I guess it is 8bit enough. The talking is a bit odd though. I might put some of their songs in though

The whole game is kind of a mix and mash of 8bit and non-8bit.

I am actually using some adhesive wombat for the intro scene right now   :)
