Whoever deserves it deserves it. As Linus said, it isn't about top poster or top donor. It's someone who he feels is a model LTT forum citizen. Who that is remains to be seen but may the odds be ever in all of your favour.

My guess is that it'll be somebody who regularly posts topics in the Tech News subforum, but actually does decent posts with pics, personal opinions, etc. Somewhat of a rarity nowadays, but I can think of a few members here. (not me :P )

 

In any case, it's nice to see a giveaway where the winner is guaranteed to be an active forum member, and not some random user with 1 post that will never show up again after the giveaway.
