1 Million Subscribers - Thank you all! And a giveaway!

Well, I don't really have much to say, but I subscribed to LTT many years ago. My brother showed me this channel, at first I was like ''lol wut?'' but at one moment it somehow changed and became more & more professional. The style and design of these reviews and unboxings are the best part of the channel :) Congrats hitting 1'000'000! ;)

A wild estonian appeared. I just wanted to say, that I really like the computer case videos, because I follow Mnpctech and I´m kinda a case fanatic so I hope you´ll never stop making those videos. And I´ve seen most of your videos, because I have nothing better to do with my life :D

Also, congrats on a million

I think I actually found you guys through newegg's channel or something, I can't remember it exactly but it might have been something like that over a year ago.. You actually make a kind of group in which I'd love to work someday. By now I already watch all the content you guys make for quite a while, even those videos of stuff that i wasn't really interested about but you guys always make it sound much more fun. I only recently joined the forums and as I'm not a person with lots of knowledge on most of the things talked here I use the website basically for searching for tips :P Congrats guys, 2 million won't be far from now :)

came across linus on the PCmasterrace subreddit  (i think it was techquickie at first very good information videos)

some people appear to be putting down what they want linus to do so i think i will do the same

linus when talking about gaming laptops/notebooks always talks about really slim ones that obviously pass up power for being sleek and thin

i dont know if the company delivers to canada/america but in england and europe there is a company called PC specialist and they do a laptop called the omega II this laptop can have one of three socket 2011 processors and either two m290Xs or GTX 880Ms it looks like a giant stone slab (i dont have any measurements but its about as high as 4 standard slimline dvd drives looking at the pictures) and it requires two 330 watt powerleads in order to use both graphics cards so its not as nice to look at or as light as those ultra slim gaming laptops but it is a laptop that packs the same amount of power in it as a full blown desktop

i completely lost the thread somewhere back there but what i remember trying to say is could linus do a review of a gaming laptop that is all about power and throws ultra thin slimline to the max out the window? the ultra thing stylish ones have their place as something that is ultra portable and quite light but they always seem to sacrifice balls to the wall firepower that some people might want and might go with a giant monolith in order to get

I found LTT when I was searching for a replacement for my trusty Sennheiser HD25s. The videos were informative but their humour was what made me subscribe. Well done on 1M Linus & the team.

I first came to LTT for advice on building a system. I liked the content and have been watching for almost a year now. I'm not much of a commenter, but I do enjoy the videos and shows a lot.

Thanks for your hard work Linus and team, keep it up!

when I first started to get into gaming, my friends told me I should build a computer. I knew nothing about tech or or all of the different knick knacks. while searching, I discovered linusTechTips. I've been watching you for about a year now and I can't thank you enough for all the information you have bestowed onto me.

I'd love any prize in this giveaway, but the PC would look bada** :D would love something that powerful and tastefully decorated!

Since I'm posting, might as well post something more relevant to this celebration.

I want to congratulate you, Linus, as well as everybody in Linus Media Group for making this huge milestone. Seriously! I've done youtube and I know some of the hardships involved, as well as the HUGE feat that is to popularize your content/make something so many people love! A slow, tearful clap for every single one of you, especially Linus for following through with it/his dreams/his vision/new world order/batman.

I first started watching the channels when I realized that I want to build computers. For a living, as a hobby, whatever. Then I sunk deeper. I kept watching and began to feel the systems you built calling me.... whispering... "program something..."

It was weird at first.

Then I gave in.

Now I program.

But seriously, I am having the time of my life now, and you guys helped me see what I really wanted to do in life (not long before had I experienced the stressful nights of high-school, senior year, or 12th grade as we call it, when I couldn't for the life of me decide what I want to do afterwards). Now I'm learning all I can about the IT sphere and thinking of studying Tech somewhere :)

The absolute BEST regards,

Rudy.

P.S. Let's go for another million! :D

The 1,000,000 subs are very well deserved, good luck to you all and lets go for 2,000,000!

I got here when TotalBiscuit posted the Monitor Refresh rate video on his twitter, I thought the video was very well done and decided to look through the rest of the channel, if it wasn't for TotalBiscuit and LinusTechTips I would've never seen GabeN's Holy Light! Before that I was just a console peasent, corrupted by darkness and lies, thank you for showing me the light and getting me interested in PC hardware.

Congrats for the achievement!

I've been a fan of your work from the 1st video i think (the cpu cooler - don't remember the brand) and the broken amd cpu pin, the wan show beginnings when you were whispering in the kitchen.

Most of my pc components and peripherals and from your videos.

You guys over there are my and many people's "anand's" source for tech. You do a great work in bringing to the community a great quality presentation for the products and services.

Keep up the good work and keep improving.

First of all congrats. The reason which makes me visit LinusTechTips on a daily basis is that I am an Indian. English in not my mother tongue. Although I know English well I still struggle to understand what you guys speak. Out of the number of channels I visited the one and only channel which helped me was this channel. But still only videos made by Linus. Even though Linus is a Canadian I can easily understand what he speaks even on low sound. Kudos on that. The reason I like this forum is because of its simplicity and cooperation that the members in here show to each other. So from the bottom of my heart I congratulate you guys and Linus is the one who helped me reach uptop some extent in PC knowledge and helped me build a PC. I also promise that when I get my own income I will sponsor a video. So CONGRATULATIONS :)

<<crossing fingers intensifies!!!1>>

I actually have an odd request for a future episode - there's a very good chance that I will become an expat in the next year.  The job should last anywhere from 3 to 5 years and it will move us to China.  My question is this - do I build up the rig here in the states and figure out the voltage issue while in China or do I source all new parts in China/Asia?  If so, any tips and suggestions?

Thanks and keep up the amazing work!!!
