W7 with Ubuntu on an older laptop.

I would personally use a distro of Linux on my main machine though, if only there was a lot more GAME SUPPORT. That being said though the only thing I really play is CS 1.6 (Which is now on Linux on Steam anyways) I don't wanna be playing games in Wine regarding upcoming titles.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

Window 8 pro for main rig (Upgraded for $40 from the consumer preview, it was that or $80 for windows 7 home).

I love Arch Linux due to how bare-bones and workable it is. But I eventually got tired of having to micromanage everything. So now I use Ubuntu 13.04 on my laptop, and when I replace that with a proper HTPC that will most likely run Ubuntu.

My rig: 2600k(4.2 GHz) w/ Cooler Master hyper 212+, Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, Powercolor 7870 xt(1100/1500) w/AIO mod,

8GB DDR3 1600, 120GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD, 1TB Seagate, Antec earthwatts 430, NZXT H2

Verified max overclock, just for kicks: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2609399
