Wow Frozen characters are moving up in the tech world I see

ELSA announced the GeForce GTX 750 Ti SP, a single slot, air-cooled graphics card based on NVIDIA's first "Maxwell" based GPU. Sticking to single-slot dimensions, the card is 18.4 cm long, featuring a full-length metal shroud covering a nickel-plated copper channel heatsink, which is ventilated by a 70 mm spinner. The card draws all its power from the PCI-Express 3.0 bus interface. Display outputs include two dual-link DVI, and one mini-HDMI. That's not all, it also comes with a tiny factory-overclock. The core runs at 1045 MHz (vs. 1020 MHz reference), and memory at 4.40 GHz (vs. 4.34 GHz reference). The card will release in the Japanese market first, on the 23rd of September

My 125W 9800GT is single slot. Doesn't get that hot, but does get loud under load

but how loud is that fan? tiny fans are notorious for being fucking loud

^ This. I cannot stand loud fans... They irritate me. Especially when it sounds like the computer is preparing to take flight.

Everytime I get a GPU that is single slot, with a fan, I ALWAYS get:

-> The fan is loud for my tastes, even at idle.

-> The fan breaks with little dust.

If I buy a single slot card, it's always passive cooled, and let better fans (case fans) do the work in cooling it.

Else I get the dual slot fans. They have larger fans, better fan motor for some reason, leading to not have the issue.

tbh give me a single slot card with 780Ti performance id be all over that. cmon nvidia/AMD get it right already
