  1. I tried googling and I'm either retarded at it or there hasn't been a person in this position before which I highly doubt. TLDR: Windows 10 sucks donkey **** but will I lose my Raid 0 if I reinstall Windows 10? I have an SSD + a Raid 0 array (just 2 2tb HDDs). The Raid is setup in the bios. It is not software base at all. Anyways I need to reinstall Windows 10 because it's an asinine product that somehow after two years still has major issues but I can't revert to Windows 7 because of software that's only available on Win 10. /Rant Will I lo
  2. Update 1.5ish? Not much done after the first update. All I really did after the fact was to make the rear I/O Panel. I deemed it the hardest part of the project because fitment is everything. Since, my Dremel cutting skills are sub-par, this made it more challenging. On top of that I can't print out a template to cut because my printer is out of commission. OH JOY. Stopped by my work, which is a hardware store to pick up a few things. My Sharpie I've been using previously went bad so I had to get a new one. I also needed non-electrical solder for the rear I/O. Also stron
  3. Damn for a $450 computer that's a good deal. Looks good too.
  4. Update #1 P.S. I got a bit lazy and didn't take any pictures with my DSLR, so the subpar pictures from my iPhone are what I have. Stopped by my local Microcenter today to pick up some water cooling parts. I went with the cheapest reservoir and coolant they had. When I got home to unpack the Swiftech reservoir, I didn't really expect much. However, I'm very impressed. For something so simple I actually am surprised. Now it's time for cutting up the rest of the case. The top mount 240mm radiator comes first.
  5. Dude this is the same case I have! Check out my build its the same case but we have different original specs, mine is the a4000. This is really cool though, keep up the good work.
  6. Project Restomod It's been a while since I've worked on computers of any type. It's also been about a year since I've posted on here as well. I spent most of my time working on cars and such. I am now in my senior year of high school and I need a computer for a college dorm. I had my very first desktop that I could call my own then. Its an old HP Pavilion a4000. I decided that it should be my new case. There is something called a restomod in the car world. It's essentially taking an old car like a 69' Mustang and restoring it and making it more modern. That is what I am going to do with t
  7. I ran a DBAN wipe on all my drives. The one drive that had an issue was my ssd. It got an error code 255. I've looked everywhere for what the he'll that means. So, the DBAN was interrupted by me while it was running (stupid idea Ik, I make bad decisions). Rather weirdly all hard drives that were interrupted are fine. The SSD (Kingston V300 120GB) does not show up in the bios, I tried two other computers too, same result. Is the drive dead? Or is it fixable? Thanks for your time.
  8. Dude that's sick. But the pictures looks photoshopped to me, which I know its not but idk it looks like it imho.
  9. Bro, I'm in the same position as you. I'm getting my license on the 28th. In the spring I'm gonna sell my boring FWD Toyota Celica to a 1995 - 2001 Mazda Miata (MX-5) NB. Both of the cars are going to be ridiculous to insure, like god damn.
  10. The only real way to combat the law is before inspection just put on stock exhaust, however that can't be said for aftermarket turbocharged cars which is such a pain. Or you can find the chillest mechanic and get it passed without any work to be done to the car.
  11. In Virginia any modification to your exhaust will not pass an inspection. Also police can pull you over if your exhaust is too loud and ticket you. It is utterly bullshit.
  12. I hate Virginia law, all people here are like damn my straight pipe sounds sick, bro magnaflow. Dude I ain't even running a cat. BRUHHH DAT EXHAUST THO. Here I am like, shit that's illegal here.
  13. Is there any audio recording software that will take a specific application audio or even multiple specific applications? I've searched on google for one and can't seem to find one. The goal is to record for example a Game and a VOIP like TS3 or Skype or whatever, while listening to music (Spotify). However, I don't want the music to be recorded, for obvious copyright reasons. Thanks for looking!
