Asus Rampage Extreme V is released while the Intel Core i7-5000 series and costs 3999 SEK including VAT. This is confirmed by Alina with the descriptive text "should not be up until 08.29."

So that's about $575 before VAT is deducted. I would guess $500 in the US.

I am surprised no board seems to have integrated watercooling so far!

Keep in mind that this will be aimed for OC'ers. Something like an integrated waterblock will just add unnecessary cost to the total price.

Let's hope Asus brings out a black edition mobo...

4000 SEK makes it about 10% more expensive than the Asus Rampage IV Black Edition. So 500 dollars sounds about right.

That's one expensive motherboard.

Think I prefer the Asus x99 deluxe, maybe would have gone for the Rampage V if it had thermal armour so you can paint it white and go with a white/red theme :D Guess i'm going all white for my x99 build. off topic but is it possible to plastdip water blocks like the titan z hydro copper or am i better off using vinyl?

You should be able to plasti-dip pretty much anything. My only concern would be getting any particulates inside that you don't want, so be sure to plug those holes and tape off what you don't want covered. My buddy plasti-dipped a waterblock for his R9 something, and put down a strip of painter's tape along the front of it, so that when he removed the tape, you could see the red liquid in there, which he back-lit with an LED strip on the back of the block. It can look really sick.
