Recently decided to name mine Ylva. For some reason that name just stuck for me. Plus it's the first PC I've built, so it's a little special.

My main PC I named Bane because of the evil look it has, plus the tubes for the Watercooling just reminded me of Bane.. But I have a thing for naming my HDD's :P

My first laptop was called crappy lappy, gaming laptop was called Sheila, and my desktop is named Naomi.

I've renamed my Toshiba laptop "Kitsune-bi", because a) of the flames that spew forth from it's exhaust vent, b) it's Japanese and c) because I love fox girls.

I name all mine the name of the model. IE my main rig is PCQ08, and my laptop is X551MAV. Boring but easy.

What do you name the computers on your network at home after? Movies? Books? TV shows?

Personally I just type in the brand of the computer I'm naming as the name, and that gets really boring after a while (TOSHIBA, PI, iPad, etc.)

I'm interested to hear your responses :)

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

I named mine 'The Blue Beast' a while ago, even though it only had a A8-5600k and a GT 240 (DDR3 edition), now with my updated GPU, I just called it my PC.

My computer is Earth, because it's my home base. My phone is Luna, because its always near by. My old iPod is Mercury because it's small and runs very hot. My server over seas is Neptune because it's very far away. My Virtualbox is Corneria, because it's not real. My wireless network is Solar because it gives life to all of them.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.
