Old reliable.  My first- and so far only-build.  It's a hunk' o' junk, barely pulls 30 fps on low in most games, but I'm upgrading it soon.  (r9 280, here I come!)

My life is consumed by CS:GO, even though I'm not exceptionally good at it.

CPU: AMD A10-5800K | GPU: Gigabyte R9 270 2GB | RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz HyperX Blu | Storage: 120GB Samsung 850 EVO + 1TB WD Caviar Blue | Chassis: NZXT H230 | Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 | PSU: Corsair CX500 500W | Cooling: CM Hyper 212 EVO | OS: Windows 10
In order of priority: GTX 970 Strix, 2 good 1080p monitors, i5 4690k, MSI Z97 Gaming 5 LGA 1150, a job

Assuming the question is asking about the computers' given name, I can answer that with a bland, uninteresting answer.

Back when I was using the Windows computer my son is now using (well basically is different now because of the upgrades over time) I had it as a media computer connected to my TV.   And I wanted to give it a name that was to-the-point and also described what it was for when I looked at it in the file browser from the other computer I had at the time.  So it was named, "Seven."   Fun huh.  Windows 7.  yawn.

In spite of the gradual upgrades and it not really being the same computer any more, it's still named Seven.

And my computer is a Mac.   It named itself by default based on my user account's short name and the kind of computer it is.  So right now it's called "Brad's MacBook Pro (2)".      I took it with me to work a couple months ago and connected it to the network.  Well evidently there was another computer of the same name already there.  So OS X made me different.     yawn.  I have no motivation or reason to change it.

How's that for sentiment?

Well I usually name my rig after the CPU and I don't own a lot Intel stuff so. My Notebook has a i7 so I named it after the Lenovo name "G580"

My "Gaming" PC is named Vishera. I just use that easy names that I don't have problems with communication between all PC's and the Windowshomegroup thing.

I wanna set up a Linux Server or something. I only miss the drives for that.

I also have an old Notebook called Turion. And the Intel dualcore-PC is just named Mint due to the Linux that runs on it.

Also a small Netbook thats called HP1234... I didn't name it.

I don't have such devised names for my rigs/PC's^^ Easy and usefull for me and I guess for others too.

Do you all actually name your PC under the Software/OS (I guess most people with windows) you own?

As you can see in this text I do.

So I have Linux,Windows7pro/home and this own WindowsOS for Netbooks. Still no plan how to set up a server between those all. :D

I'm building my PC and wondering a good PC name..

Unfortunately, I'm not the most creative person and really can't think of a unique one.

The biggest bottleneck is the Aussie internet..
