If I were less original, mine would hands down be Frankenstein's Monster, but I am more creative than that. Mine is called The Loli With A Large Gun. It's small, cute and what it has looks rather out of place or mismatched but relative to every other computer my family has it is a powerhouse.

Microwave. It's built in a white Fractal Node 304 so it literally looks like a microwave.

I love it when that happens. Complicated and mystical names like Poseidon, Dionysus and Serenity

And then there was Bob.

Well I was kind of drunk when I named him... but he is a nice little media brick. I was also a little tired of the mythological names.

I always name my computers after warships. My old desktop was Dreadnought, my current is Prinz_Eugen, and my laptop was Bismark (before I sold her).

I call her :
"PC".
She's my PC, I love her~ And then I'll replace her with her younger sister who's prettier and better at everything, later down the line, but don't tell her that.

Hmm that's quite an interesting naming scheme, I should have thought about using ship names, I am a bit of a nerd for old ships of the line so names like Victory or Warspite, Defiance and then you get Rupert and Edgar or my personal favourite name HMS Sandwich at least this covers a bit of the Royal Navy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_ships

As the title says, this is a thread to post the names of your rigs. Happy naming!

M13 short for Magnitude13 and my second one is going to be called silverstream

Please become a member of the Linus Tech Tips forum, keep writing smug remarks & let us love you. Peace out.

The Abyss

Ola Englund does not approve of your hashtags. Sleep is for the weak, insomnia builds character.

As you are reading this you are slowly traveling forwards in time to where you will get out of the time machine and continue to read posts. Too spookyfor100me.
